George Vithoulkas challenges the Sceptics!
As the sceptics have made a website calling it 10.23 http://www.1023.org.uk/ in order to degrade homeopathy, George Vithoulkas is suggesting to them the following proposal!
I challenge the Sceptics!
Several sceptics in 10:23 anti homeopathy campaign (swallowed in public each one a full bottle of different homeopathic remedies just to show that there was nothing in them. I propose to swallow the same content of about 60 tablets but in a different way:
Swallow one tablet every day. I propose the remedy to be Alumina 200C (a dilution far beyond the Avogadro number) and I promise them that in the end of 60 days a considerable number of them (up to 10% or more) will be suffering with slight to severe constipation. In homeopathy one bottle or one tablet is considered as one dose only. Most probably they knew this?
The first condition for the participants of this experiment will be to have a good general state of health and a normal stool once a day.
The second to be brave enough to continue with the experiment till the end of 60 days and not stop with the first signs of constipation.
The third, to be honest enough to report the effect.

Arsenicum Album (ars.) is a classic remedy known in its basic outlines to all homoeopaths. Originally proven by Hahnemann himself, Ars. has been exhaustively described in every Materia Medica since. The classic description in Kent's Materia Medica covers all the essentials in both the acute and chronic states: Anxiety, Restlessness, Aggravated by Cold, Worse 1 - 2 p.m. and 1 - 2 a.m. , Thirsty for Sips, Periodicity, Alternations of Symptoms, Ulcerations, Burning PAINS. I prefer to speak of the constitution of our remedies instead of constitutional remedies. You will agree with me that Sulphur, Calcarea carbonica, Lycopodium, and Thuja should be mentioned first, if I am to speak of constitutional remedies, which I shall try to present in pictures.
Sulphur is the most important, the main remedy in Hahnemann’s psora treatment. It is the best agent where there is lack of reaction of the body. Historical background The first to mention and use Carcinosin, the cancer nosode, was James Tyler Kent. He called it 'Carcinoma', and this is how he prepared the remedy:
The preparation of Carcinoma which I have used, for years, was taken from a mammary cancer. The patient had continual seeping of clear, colourless, watery discharge from the open cancer. A small quantity of this fluid was saved and potentised, and has served satisfactorily, in many cases of advanced carcinoma.' He used it as a palliative in cancer cases: 'Carcinoma relieves the sharp, burnin g tearing pains. One could say that solving a homeopathic case is easy in theory. One has only to choose the correct symptoms, underline them correctly, and the computer will find the simillimum. Or better still, memorize all the remedies and then give the simillimum based on your knowledge of materia medica without even opening up a repertory. At times in the case-taking process it is of essential importance to disregard the suggestions that have been made by the computer and ask some basic case-taking questions such as:
Is this person really healthy on the emotional level? For example, is he / she able to express his emotions with strength and clarity? Is he flexible or rigid?
Is he finding creative solutions to problems or getting more trapped? Does he have a strong sense of purpose, value and meaning in his life, or is there apathy and indifference? How much strength of individuality is in his identity or is he weak and unassertive?
What is his balance between selfishness with a strong boundary and the over caring, over sympathetic and too selfless individual who ends up as a victim? Did he/she pass through the developmental stages easily? What stages is he still trapped in?
What negative emotions are there? What are the positive ones? Finally, is his health based on freedom to make choices or does the pattern of the "subconscious" make decisions for him and restrict his freedom?"

Question: Cana person's own intention prevent or facilitate the action of a remedy ?
George : That is good one. The answer in no. What they can do is not let you know what they are doing. The action will be there but they do not want to acknowledge and they will not let you know it. I have seen cases where we have treated with Lyc. She comes back next month and says such and such and so we wait with a placebo. She comes the third month with Nat-m. and says,"I am the same." She comes back and is Calc. and says, "I am worse, really worse". She is given Thuj., and she says still that she is worse. She will tell you. "In the beginning I was perfect". You say, "Perfect?" and she will say, "Yes". She will say, "The first remedy you gave me was the right one." You can go crazy. There was no clue because she went through the months always saying she was the same. So eventually we will have antidoted the case and she says, "Oh, now I am back again to where I was in the beginning".

George : So I will get away from this a little, and give you some of the history of my life.
The highlights are that during the German occupation during the Second World War both my parents were killed. My father was killed when I was ten years old. One year ... no, two years later my mother was killed. That was 1942 and 1944. During that time, of course, we were going through great stress. We did not have anything to eat and we were starving, especially the populations in the big towns. The people in the country had some food they could prepare, but there was nothing that we could do in the towns. There was undernourishment. Due to that I believe later on I developed a disease on the vertebrae of the spine. Due to the griefs that I had been through also. My father made furniture of high quality. I remember in 1939, when I was 7 years old, he took me to the Palace of the Royal Family where he had made some furniture. He was very good and very much interested in what he was doing.
