Atheroma – Homeopathy Treatment and Homeopathic Remedies
In pathology, an atheroma (plural: atheromata) is an accumulation and swelling (-oma) in artery walls that is made up of cells (mostly macrophage cells), or cell debris, that contain lipids (cholesterol and fatty acids), calcium and a variable amount of fibrous connective tissue. In the context of heart or artery matters, atheromata are commonly referred to as atheromatous plaques. It is an unhealthy condition, but is found in most humans.
These anatomic lesions usually begin in some children younger than age 1 year and all children older than age 10 regardless of geography, race, sex or environment. Veins do not develop atheromata, unless surgically moved to function as an artery, as in bypass surgery. The accumulation (swelling) is always between the endothelium lining and the smooth muscle wall central region (media) of the arterial tube, see IMT. Adenoids (or pharyngeal tonsils, or nasopharyngeal tonsils) are a mass of lymphoid tissue situated at the very back of the nose, in the roof of the nasopharynx, where the nose blends into the mouth.
Normally, in children, they make a soft mound in the roof and posterior wall of the nasopharynx, just above and behind the uvula.
Function of Adenoids
Adenoids are part of the immune system. Like all lymph tissue, they trap infectious agents like viruses and bacteria, and they produce antibodies.
Since the adenoids are located at the back of the nasal airway, they provide defense against inhaled substances.
This function decreases with age as the adenoids shrink. Because adenoids do ordinarily shrink by late childhood, the problems caused by enlarged adenoids rarely occur in adults.
It is important to remember that even though the pharyngeal tonsil is usually referred to in the plural sense, i.e. adenoids, as in this article, in reality there is only one adenoid tonsil.

Varicose veins are veins that have become enlarged and twisted. Carl Arnold Ruge is credited with having first defined varicose veins as “any dilated, elongated and tortuous vein irrespective of size”. The term commonly refers to the veins on the leg, although varicose veins occur elsewhere. Veins have leaflet valves to prevent blood from flowing backwards (retrograde). Leg muscles pump the veins to return blood to the heart. When veins become enlarged, the leaflets of the valves no longer meet properly, and the valves don’t work. One cause of valve failure is deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which can cause permanent damage to the valves. The blood collects in the veins and they enlarge even more. Otitis media is inflammation of the middle ear, or middle ear infection (the word otitis is Latin and it means “inflammation of the ear”, and media means middle).

I had just finished reading a book on treating Autism and was in the middle of reading another when the opportunity to assist a three year old boy with Autism presented itself at my clinic. I challenge the Sceptics!
Several sceptics in 10:23 anti homeopathy campaign (swallowed in public each one a full bottle of different homeopathic remedies just to show that there was nothing in them. I propose to swallow the same content of about 60 tablets but in a different way:
Swallow one tablet every day. I propose the remedy to be Alumina 200C (a dilution far beyond the Avogadro number) and I promise them that in the end of 60 days a considerable number of them (up to 10% or more) will be suffering with slight to severe constipation. In homeopathy one bottle or one tablet is considered as one dose only. Most probably they knew this?
The first condition for the participants of this experiment will be to have a good general state of health and a normal stool once a day.
The second to be brave enough to continue with the experiment till the end of 60 days and not stop with the first signs of constipation.

Strategies of Homeopathic Case Taking by George Vithoulkas
At times in the case-taking process it is of essential importance to disregard the suggestions that have been made by the computer and ask some basic case-taking questions such as:
Is this person really healthy on the emotional level? For example, is he / she able to express his emotions with strength and clarity? Is he flexible or rigid?
Is he finding creative solutions to problems or getting more trapped? Does he have a strong sense of purpose, value and meaning in his life, or is there apathy and indifference? How much strength of individuality is in his identity or is he weak and unassertive?
What is his balance between selfishness with a strong boundary and the over caring, over sympathetic and too selfless individual who ends up as a victim? Did he/she pass through the developmental stages easily? What stages is he still trapped in?
What negative emotions are there? What are the positive ones? Finally, is his health based on freedom to make choices or does the pattern of the "subconscious" make decisions for him and restrict his freedom?"

George : That is good one. The answer in no. What they can do is not let you know what they are doing. The action will be there but they do not want to acknowledge and they will not let you know it. I have seen cases where we have treated with Lyc. She comes back next month and says such and such and so we wait with a placebo. She comes the third month with Nat-m. and says,"I am the same." She comes back and is Calc. and says, "I am worse, really worse". She is given Thuj., and she says still that she is worse. She will tell you. "In the beginning I was perfect". You say, "Perfect?" and she will say, "Yes". She will say, "The first remedy you gave me was the right one." You can go crazy. There was no clue because she went through the months always saying she was the same.
